A Zimbabwean pastor’s wife, who has gone seven years without sex, couldn’t withhold her emotions when she appeared before a court and accused her husband Petros Tshuma, a pastor with Zion Grace International, of starving her since 2010.
Instead, she says he sleeps with other women from his congregation.
“Your worship, I’m sexually abused by this man as he last had sex with me in 2010. If I ask him about the issue he would promise to make up for it but when it’s time for sex he simulates sickness then claims to be feeling pain in his stomach,” she said.
Mary Ngwenya added that her husband would also claim his testicles were swollen but had other partners to sleep with as she literally pleaded for sex in front of the magistrate.
“What I know is that he enjoys sex with three ladies from our church. I have WhasApp text messages to prove that.
I’m a human being. I don’t survive on Bible verses and I need my husband to sleep with me. Now I lead a pretentious life telling the women I lead that I’m enjoying my marriage while I’m sex starved,” she said in between sobs.
However, Tshuma admitted the blame.
“I love my wife but I have a problem, when I engage in sex my stomach starts to twinge as a result I feel an intense pain and due to
that I had to stop. It’s not true that I’m in love with other women. My wife saw text messages from the women who wanted counselling on their marriages, due to that she quickly concluded that I’m in love with them,” he said.
The judge Masuku ordered Tshuma to have sex with his wife and not to emotionally abuse her.

A Zimbabwean pastor, accused last year of trying to overthrow President Robert Mugabe's government after calling for protests, was arrested at the airport when he flew home from the United States on Wednesday, his lawyer said.
Evan Mawarire was previously arrested and charged last July, but was freed by a magistrate's court which said police had not followed procedure.
Harrison Nkomo, his lawyer, said the pastor had been arrested at Harare's airport and was taken to the capital's central police station.
Police spokeswoman Charity Charamba confirmed Mawarire's arrest, saying he had an outstanding warrant after failing to appear in court last year. She did not provide more details.
"The law will always catch up with you even if you go away. Mawarire had a warrant of arrest against him," Charamba said.
After he was freed by the court in July, police had said they still wanted to file more charges against Mawarire. He traveled to South Africa and then the United States, where he had been living with his family since July.
His absence drew condemnation from supporters, who accused him of abandoning them when his leadership was needed.
Mawarire rose to fame after posting a video online last year that went viral, venting his anger about deteriorating social and economic conditions in Zimbabwe and urging citizens to hold the government to account.
The preacher's social media movement #ThisFlag rattled Mugabe's administration, leading to accusations by the state against Mawarire of inciting public violence.

News24 - A pastor who prophesied that President Robert Mugabe would die on October 17 was arrested in Harare on Monday, his lawyer said.
Patrick Mugadza has been told he undermined the authority of the longtime Zimbabwean leader, who turns 93 next month. He was later charged with criminal nuisance, according to the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights.
The pastor made the prophecy last week.
Mugadza first came to prominence in December 2015 when he was arrested for staging a one-man protest against Mugabe in Victoria Falls.
Gift Mtisi of Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights said: "He was arrested on charges of undermining the authority of the president."
"They are claiming he made a public statement – I think at a press conference – that President Robert Mugabe would die on 17 October [2017] unless he prays.
"He says it’s not an offence [because] he just conveyed God’s message, a prophetic message. Upon arrest he was told of the charge but he hasn’t been formally charged."
Mugabe's health is a regular subject for speculation in Zimbabwe.
Mugadza is understood to have been arrested at a court in the capital where he was due to go on trial for wearing Zimbabwe's national flag without permission in November last year.
Anti-government protesters last year turned the Zimbabwe flag into a symbol of opposition to Mugabe's long rule. The pastor draped his over his shoulders. Prosecutors said he "disrespected" the national symbol.

Presbyterian Church in Cameroon
Dear Presbyterians,
Dear brothers and Sisters in the Lord.
Pastoral Letter: Our God is a God of History
We bring you fraternal greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace and the Lord of Lords. We join you to thank God for the blessings and graces of 2016, the year of our Lord. The year 2016 was a challenging one for us as a church and as a nation amidst collective and personal successes on the field of evangelization and our drive towards transformation on the one hand; And on the other hand, we all were affected by the Esseka train accident and towards the end of the year, there were upheavals in the major towns of the Northwest and Southwest Regions of our country – mainly the English-speaking part of our country. In all these challenges, the God whom we serve showed himself as our refuge, stronghold and comfort in times of trouble. When such calamities happen, we should not lose faith because Jesus Christ himself warns us that, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Increasingly, we cannot trust the systems of this world for peace, that is why Christ said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27).
We look forward to the year 2017 with great expectations for what we want to achieve as a church. We are also looking up to our hope in the Lord Jesus Christ as a people and as a faith community. Yet our anxieties and uncertainties on some of the things happening around us continue to be of great concern. We hear news of civil strife, we are not certain how the school year will commence, and we do not know how a breakthrough will come in a deadlock pitting the government of Cameroon and the Teachers’ Trade Union and the Common-Law Lawyers. We are not sure whether many Cameroonians may be able to afford food, medicines and basic utilities. This is the reason why as a church we must pray and lend ourselves to the service of God and our nation, to pray for peace but also to take our responsibilities in peace building.
Let me share our thoughts on the common issue plaguing our country today.
We are referring to what has been called the marginalization of Anglophone. In the last few months our country has witnessed upheavals in some towns and cities in the English-speaking parts of Cameroon creating a situation of mutual suspicion between the leaders of Teachers’ Trade Unions and the government of Cameroon, each side portraying their own version that further deepen wounds and heighten the elements of suspicion and mistrust. This kind of situation may lead our leaders into the temptation of the insistence of an uneasy co-existence, secession, federalism and the much talked about decentralization. One thing is clear; the God we serve is the God of our history. None of us can explain how they came to be born in Cameroon; none of us know why God permitted the Germans to be defeated during the 1st World War. None of us know why God permitted the French and the English mandate to dominate Cameroon after the Versailles treaty. None of us know why God permitted a small section of our country to be called Southern Cameroons. Only God knows why the things that are, came into being.
Therefore, in times like this, we should repent from relying on our human wisdom on issues that have a bearing in God’s genuine plan for Cameroonians and for mankind as a whole. One thing which is clear is that God remains the Lord of our history and calls us to repentance so that our country can experience the reason why He made us Cameroonians. Those who insist on the uneasy coexistence should be able to answer how can there be co-existence without mutuality and trust? Those who call for federalism must also be reminded that even in the new fragments of the federation, there would be minority problems. Those who call for secession must be reminded historically that there cannot be any secession without bloodshed like the cases of Yugoslavia, South Sudan, and Eritrea to mention a few. Those who call for decentralization must answer why for all this while the so-called devolution of competences to local councils have dragged on or why should institutions in one council pay their taxes to another council area. So, you see, the problem of Cameroon has been one of peace without justice and Justice without truth. This is the time for truth.
Our today just like our tomorrow remains in God’s hands. We cannot craft out a future outside of God’s plan for our lives, we cannot build tomorrow by our own might and neither can we redeem our history by our own strength. So the question is what is God’s plan for Cameroon at this juncture? In times like this when our history challenges us and our people cry out for justice, no weapon or might can stop the restlessness of a people who cry out to God in distress seeking rescue. Rather, we all must come together like a family to pray together and seek God’s face so that our country should not degenerate into despair. So we call on all Cameroonians to turn to God – Cameroon, keep God at the center of your politics, keep God at the center of your thinking, keep God at the center of your actions and it will surprise you what the Lord God Almighty will do for you.

Agbor Gilbert Ebot, the CEO of CAMIFF (Cameroon International Film Festival) has not been indifferent to the riots in recent days in the English speaking parts of the country. Like many Cameroonians on social media, he shared pictures and messages concerning the riots (obviously in favor of a peaceful strike).Another Cameroonian, this time Apostle John Chi, got involved too in his own way. Hehad a “special” prayer for the forces of law and order.
This made many people angry and some even called the prophet a “political pastor“. Agbor was not silent about this, and he made that know this morning. Read below.
.
The oppressed peoples can liberate themselves only through struggle. This is a simple and clear truth confirmed by history. YOU CAN NOT PRAY FOR PEACE AND USE GUNS ON PEACEFUL PROTESTERS. I WAS HOPING JOHN CHI WILL VISIT THE HOME OF ALL THE YOUNG MEN KILLED IN BAMENDA AND KUMBA. Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. We will not stay silence, while they take the lives of our brothers and sisters. We should not turn a blind eye to the murder with no repercussions. We will not live on our knees, we will die on our feet, after all we all will die someday. Please this is not right and this not the solution. The is democracy in Cameroon, Freedom of expression and human rights. English or French Cameroonian, we all have equal rights, don’t make this an Anglophone – Francophone issue, this is not a political issue and our bilingualism can be our strongest force.
All you young Cameroonians on the streets shooting your own people who look like you and talk like you in the name of keeping peace. That is weak, that is bad and i don’t think anyone has the right to take the life of another person.
We are trying to repeat the mistakes of the past. My only weapon is LOVE. HOPE AND PRAYERS FOR A PEACEFUL DIALOGUE IN CAMEROON. Drop the guns please. We are destroying our country. If unity is what we stand for then DIALOGUE is important. Locking, beating and killing of the innocent. Cameroonians comes with consequences and convictions. JOHN CHI, JUST SO YOU KNOW MORE THEN 100 YOUNG MEN HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY FROM BAMENDA AND A FILMMAKER IS AMONG. WHAT IF THE 17 YEAR OLD THAT WAS RAPED IS YOUR CHILD. Lying and pretending to PRAY on media because is not your child that’s being killed. To me that is the real disunity. How can you assassinate all the leaders who leading us. Leave us with ones who misleading us. Then go and reward all the ones who mistreat us. Call me AGE.

Rescue workers continue to look for survivors in the debris following the collapse of a church roof in southern Nigeria, killing at least 60 people.
Hundreds of people were in the Reigners Bible Church, which was still under construction, when the roof collapsed Saturday in the city of Uyo.
Media reports say at least 60 people died in the incident, but local police say the casualties could not be confirmed "rescue operations are still ongoing."
Several local officials were in attendance when the roof fell, including Udom Emmanuel, the governor of Akwa Ibom state, who escaped without injury.
One survivor told local media from his hospital bed that the roof fell about 30 minutes into the program. "Suddenly, the roof from the middle fell on worshippers. The governor was quickly rescued. But others were not that lucky."
Governor Emmanuel tweeted that he personally supervised rescue operations at the scene and has declared December 11 and 12 as days of mourning.
The church's founder, who was to be made a bishop during the service, was also not injured.
A spokesman for the governor said the state would conduct an investigation into the collapse.
