The Section President of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) for Meme IA, Lawson Tabot Bakia, says Cameroon is governed by fraudsters.
According to him, the controversy surrounding the fake certificates saga of Mayor Patrick Ekema Esunge, has been blown out of proportion.
Tabot blames the Registrar of the Cameroon General Certificate of Education Board, GCEB, Dr. Humphrey Ekema Monono, for publishing only the certificate results of the Mayor of Buea.
“Why were the results of the other 93 persons, who are also involved in the fake certificate racket, not published?”
The CPDM Section President was speaking to reporters during a CPDM Section Conference in Mbonge.
“Ekema is not the only person who has faked certificates; others have fake certificates in this country, Ministers, Senators, Director Generals of Corporations among others.
“We have companies like CNPS, PAMOL and City Councils, where workers have been retrenched for fake certificates. I cannot start calling names... Ekema even tried in having one 'A' level and then got into the university. Some people in Ministries do not even have it. They fraud the certificates from Ordinary Level to Advanced level and then get into places.
Some of them today are called honourable Members of Parliament, Mayors and Magistrates, they all fraud. They have fraud in different forms.
I want to blame, full-heartedly, the Registrar of the GCE Board for those publications.
“And I want to tell him that he, himself, is not a just man. I believe that it is not just Ekema, Cameroon is governed and ruled by fraudsters. But we should be careful with people who want to destroy the good image of the University of Buea. Leave Ekema alone and keep the good image of UB; that is my advice to the population,” Tabot stated.
He also added: “Concours are out now; there are those who have reduced their ages from 45 to 22 years, go there and check,” he said
Tabot, however, said the fake certificate saga does not concern the party; rather “it is Ekema's personal issue.”

Some disgruntled elites of the grand north, confidentially hinted Cameroon Concord that, serious fire works are underground in the region ahead of a second memorandum which is aimed at exposing the ills of the Biya regime towards the majority illiterate populations of the region who have spent over 30 years of their lives voting for an ingrate in the person of mr Biya.
They added, Biya has vehemently abandoned the juicy part of Cameroon where he harvests the greatest number of votes. This highly awaited memorandum which is in gestation is headed by Aboubakar Ousmane mey,( brother to Alamine Ousmane mey, Biya's finance minister) is the second after that of 2002 which was signed by a majority of those who are in government today. According to another reliable source, the document will touch issues related to the abject poverty, socio-economic negligence of the region. Top on the agenda our source added, is the decision by the elites to bring back the corpse of former president, Ahmadou Ahidjo for a befitting burial. It is also scandalous to understand that not even a franc as president Ahidjo's pension has ever been paid to his wife, Germain Ahidjo who is still alive...one of the elites lamented.
Another bond of contention is the creation of a single party for the entire region to unseat the Biya hegemony but this idea has been dividing the elites as some of them believe that, there is no civil administrator in this country who will sign such a daring initiative. This move will help foster the unity and solidarity between the elites who are totally against the Yaounde regime regardless of the fact that, Biya works with a handful of some selfish Indigents of the region such as, Cavaye Yeguie Djibril, who has been the country's speaker of the National assembly for over 20 years, Ayang Luc, President of Economic and Social council, The famous communication minister Issa Tchiroma, Bouba Bello amongst others work unfortunately so hard to protect their interests rather than those of the population.
It is been said news of this memo is causing severe panic and sleepless nights at Etoudi, coupled with the ongoing Anglophone crisis. A press conference to announce the publication of the pamphlet will be held in the days ahead.

PREVAIL
Prevail in the pitch darkness of tempestuous nights
As the incandescent lighthouse emits its radiance From the distant horizon whereof sea monsters Team up and swim offshore in violent splashes Amidst vexing cataracts and hurricanes. Prevail through thick and thin Across the narrow path of the wild Overladen with weaving weeds, thickening thorns And dreadful deeps of antiquity Harbouring sundry reptiles in mangrove swamps.
Prevail while in their sacred sanctuaries, Pseudo-prelates pray for you with concealed pretence After eating the bread of the heathen, Drinking the wine of the desecrated vineyard And putting on the gabardine of the damned. Prevail with leaps and bounds Where greed and treachery have failed to deliver the goods For the welfare and wellbeing Of your disillusioned denizens Who will for nothing else than their freedom sacrifice their lives. Prevail while that grandfather in Ekondo-Titi Majestically inhales stuffy snuff into his sunken nostrils And that grandmother in Acha-Tugi Proudly puffs serpentine fumes from her age-battered pipe As they impatiently await the wake of October.
Prevail at God speed, mindful that More than eight million Southern Cameroons people Count on this trying transitional period More than any journey on which they have ever embarked, And more than any project which they have ever engaged. Prevail while our predecessors in their endless sleep In home and overseas sepulchres speak in unison For the restoration of our independence Whereof our children and their children's children Shall harvest their livelihood till time incalculable. Prevail while your energy is still at its peak, For the race of life is short, And the chosen have just a dash To accomplish their lifelong tasks For which they are assigned from their births. Prevail while the world at large marvels And historians chronicle that you were the interim torchbearer Of an independent nation once enslaved for fifty-six years Now emerging as one of the English-speaking countries On the tropics of the African continent to be reckoned with.
Prevail while from their heavenly dominions, The Angels in their immaculate white chariots, Sing the eternal glory of God For sending an illustrious son of your sanity To come to the timely rescue of a subjugated people. Prevail while I sit painfully in my termite-hued cubicle And compose a line or two from my overflowing fountain For the exaltation of this glaring galore on our doorsteps, For it is the divine calling of a studious artisan of my fidelity.

Officials of the Kondengui Maximum Security Prison in Yaounde have come under intense pressure from a network of human rights activists in Central Africa.
The prison officials are now sweating under the ire of the activists after searching the cells of the Anglophone detainees; confiscated their telephones and stole their money.
Those whose cells were searched are Barrister Agbor Balla, Dr. Fontem Neba, Harissou Aboubakar Sidiki, Marafa Hamidou Yaya, the Mayor of Fotokol, Ramat Moussa, who are all accused of plotting against the State and collaborating with Boko Haram respectively.
After searching, seizing and stealing money from the detainees’ cells on the instruction of the Superintendent of the Kondengui Central Prison, Senguena Abada Selestin, the detainees were equally barred from receiving any visitor until further notice.
According to the human rights activists, such decision is a gross violation of article 5 of the African Charter on Human and People’s Rights.
The article provides for the respect of human dignity and prohibits the moral and physical torture of human persons.
The act of the prison authorities also violates article 7 of the international pact relating to civil and political rights.
The human rights activists are asking the Biya Government to release all Anglophones, arrested in the North West and South West Regions in the wake of the political and socio-economic upheavals in the two Regions before things get out of control.
Many peace crusaders and international organisations like the United Nations have called on Government to release all those detained in connection with the Anglophone Problem so as to pave the way for appeasement, national dialogue and reconciliation. Government is yet to react to the avalanche of calls.

The Minister of Communication Issa Tchiroma, is back again to assist the 84-year old arbitrary Cameroon ruler, in the showering of unconsoling condolences on the petrified Northern Region of the country.
Following the recent suicide bomb attack in the Waza locality of the Far North Region, in which 16 deaths and over 30 injured people were recorded, a communiqué was released by the Communication Minister, which acted as the mouth piece of the dumb president who has to muster courage before he even speaks publicly on the last day of the year (31 December) and the Youth day eve (10 May).
Instead of going to the North as he should have gone to the English-speaking parts of the country to speak to his people and show that he is really concerned, he rather uses his communication puppet to extend weary condolences "the President of the Republic sends his condolences to victims...congratulates our armed forces as well as the vigilante groups for the work they are doing against the enemy" section of communiqué reads.
His hailing of the armed forces is even more than the condolences, which do nothing but add pain.
