The Inhabitants of Nkolbisson are living in distress as most of them have had to move out of the neighborhoods due to inundation. The floods are back as the raining season is at hand.
Reports say the Inundation is blamed on the poor construction of a small bridge in the area which residents say is too small to contain the huge volume of water after heavy downpour. According to residents of Nkolbisson they have change their lifestyles just to see how to manage with the situation. “When it rains even a little, it enters our houses and we cannot stay inside anymore.
Everyone will stay outside till the rain seizes. Most often when rain starts falling most of us will have to come back home no matter where we are especially when our children are home. When it starts raining the mattresses and other important things are put up. It’s horrible as we are forced to wash our houses each time it rains and stops. We are just like fish jumping inside the water.” says an angry inhabitant.
Sources say the inhabitants plead on the government to help solve their problem.

The highly controversial CPDM mayor of Buea council has made headlines on the social media over the past few days.
His story on Facebook takes the form of a question in which users were asked to fill in a blank space with the correct answer: “Very soon our history will be like this .Once upon a time, there lived a man call MAYOR EKEMA. He used to carry his taxis all over Buea to disrupt his people’s struggle for liberation. Now he is in k……….”
The blank space provided was filled exclusively with the name KONDENGUI. Their answers seem to pass a message as to the route government ministers in Cameroon or CPDM die-hards are most likely to take when they fall out of favour with Paul Biya. .
Many overzealous militants of the CPDM who never thought of one day getting into Kondengui are today languishing in the dreaded prison. In fact, it seems to be the Habitat where almost all those who were once praise singers to Paul Biya in the likes of the Ekemas take abode.
Pundits say History is not only being read but it is also being written. Mayor Ekema’s history may just have been written in a Facebook post!

Isidore Modjo the producer of jingles for CRTV late this week demonstrated in front of the ministry of communication demanding for the payment of his royalties since 20 years.
Reports say Isidore Modjo staged a seat down protest in front of the ministry of communication in Yaounde Thursday demanding the payment of 1.8 billion FCFA as royalty CRTV owes him for the production of program jingles and other sounds for the states broadcaster.
According to sources, Modjo showed a letter from the PMs Office ordering immediate payment of 50million of the 1.8 billion by the minister of communication. This order was not however respected at the ministry of communication and Modjo has vowed to continue with his protest until his royalties are paid in full.
“To my greatest dismay I was asked by the minister of communication to receive just 10million FCFA but I refuse. The prime minister gave instruction on the 29 of March to pay my money for the jingles of the CRTV up till today nothing has been done. I want the decision of the prime minister to be executed as it is. If this is not done then I will be forced to continue with rebellion” says Mr. Monjo bitterly.

It was a mixed situation of pain and humour in the Ntarinkon neighbourhood of Bamenda yesterday morning when a military officer took to his heels when he heard gun shots coming from a nearby apartment.
The Military officer, who came into the town in one of the many consignments sent to Bamenda by the head of state, was on patrol in Ntarinkon when the incident hit.
An Eye Witness describes the scene in humour. “At about 5am this morning when I was going to work, I bypassed a military man seriously running. He ran like an antelope. I did not understand why and when I continued in my direction, I heard gunshots coming from the neighbouring apartment. That is when I myself ran into the bush” He laughs.
The population of Bamenda has condemned the action taken by the military athlete man in all bitterness.
“All they know is to intimidate armless civilians. When it is time to show that they are military men, they will flee as this one just did. It is a disgrace to the military” says a grumbling inhabitant.
