BaretaNews can now confirm as reported earlier that Enow Orock who was shot last night is CPDM sub-section president of Okoyong. We gathered information that he traveled to Ekok on the night of 17th-18th Nov in supposed violation of the SW Governor's curfew of no movements at night. He was stop at a checkpoint and money was requested from him. Having on him only 6000frs was not enough and this let to some argument and he was shot on the thigh. His situation is seriouse and is currently in Bamenda for treatment. BaretaNews on speaking on phone with a relative of Enow , she displayed shocked and accuses the military as mad people.
Let me just state that Enow is just like anyone of us though being a CPDM Sub section President. This barbaric forces everyday in our land are committing grave human right abuses. The maiming, harassment, shooting, of our people continues. The bullet knows no party, these barbaric occupying forces know no party. We must up our game to push them away from homeland. Enow like others, we wish him quick recovery.
