The administrative block of Government Bilingual High School Babessi, the lone GCE examination centre in the Ngohketunjia Division of the North West region, has been razed to ashes, according Cameroon daily news
It happened this morning by the early hours of 8 to 9:00am. This leaves the teachers of the school asking themselves what they will do as the 2016/2017 examination session begins on Monday 12 June 2017.
Reliable sources suggest that the perpetrators of the act might have targeted the writing material to be used for the examination. The people behind the act are yet unknown.
La Republique and its partners living in Southern Cameroons do not want to learn their lessons from the silent manifestations, the determined Ambazonian fighters are putting up against them. After having their cars, their shops and public institutions burnt they still remain adamant.
The GCE will be starting on Monday, and it will take guts beyond imagination for any headstrong parent to send their child to school for the Exam.
The reason why most sympathizers of the beloved struggle, don’t see any reason why the Exam should hold is because, the majority of those who were supposed to sit in for the Exam session, have not been going to school.

Security sources say one soldier of the Rapid Intervention Battalion(BIR) was killed on Friday night breaking Saturday 10 June when a suicide bomber detonated the explosives.
Reports say the attacker had managed to evade security systems to enter the protected zone of BIR in Kolofata. Two other soldiers got injured, Cameroon-Info.Net reports.
At least three other attackers passed away on Friday without any other casualties.
In under two weeks the Far North has witnessed about ten attacks. The most deadly happened on 02 June and claimed 11 lives and left several persons injured.
Cameroon has been in this war against the terror group since 2014 . Paul Biya unilaterally declared war in France that same year.
As the soul of the fallen hero rests in peace, the fate of some of his colleagues is uncertain, as possible sanctions await from Biya for having staged a protest to demand unpaid bonuses. The protest occurred a week ago in the Far North. Later on the soldiers were airlifted to Yaoundé.

Another suicide bomber has carried out a failed attack in the Far North region of Cameroon, precisely In Bouvare (Kolofata). No other casualties besides the bomber.
The attack happened in the evening of Friday after three other attackers had attempted other failed attacks in the same region earlier in the morning.
So, in under 24 hours four suicide bombers have passed on without any additional lives in the region.
The strength of the terror group is apparently dwindling. At the beginning in 2014, such suicide attacks would claim scores of lives, both civilians and soldiers.
But the last series of attacks in under four days have been fruitless altogether. A woman and an 8-year-old girl blew themselves up on Wednesday and injured only two persons.
This is coming at a time when some of the soldiers engaged in the war are about to face sanctions from Biya for having staged a protest for unpaid bonuses and other expenses.

The advocate General of the supreme court in Cameroon’s son, Ayah Ayah Paul, explained in a post on the social media, how deplorable it felt like, to be in La Republique’s detention.
He had gone to the military tribunal in Yaounde on Wednesday, 7 June 2017, to attend the court hearing of some Anglophones who were locked up in relation to the strike in the English speaking regions of the country, before being arrested.
He said he came to understand what our Anglophone brothers and sisters have been going through in La Republique cells. “There is need to pray for all those under detention, especially the Anglophone detainees on the account of the Anglophone crisis” Ayah disclosed. Most of them have been languishing in pain for months now, but the authorities in charge are not helping it in any way with the constant postponement of their court cases.
Biya’s agents cleared him up from the military court’s premises on the grounds that he was trying to defend his cousin who had taken photos of him Ayah Ayah, with Barister kan and Joshua Osih who equally came to witness the court case.
Ayah Ayah also talked about his father’s manipulated retirement, which has greatly reduced his chances of slipping off the hands of the regime’s forces. This will only help to worsen his health which is not even the best, according to sources.
The Advocate General’s son could not forget his mom who bailed him “thanks be to God for letting my entire family and especially my mom for bailing me out of this wahala”. After the release, he felt the urge to call on the rest of the Ambazonians to pray for those in detention, for they are in hell.

The June session of Parliament has begun in Yaounde as Members of Parliament and Senators converge to make decisions on the deplorable condition of the country. Anglophone MPs have once again given a deaf ear for them to walk out from the Parliament which aggrieved Anglophones say does not longer represent their interest.
By continuing to attend Parliamentary sessions in Yaoundé, most Southern Cameroonians believe the MPs are traitors, people who put their interest first before the population who elected them. They are not only a minority but never has their voices been taken to consideration. Very few MPs especially from the ruling party CPDM have come up to react to the unlawful arrests, intimidation and imprisonment of Anglophone youths.
Opening the session at the National Assembly Thursday, long term Speaker, Cavaye Yegue Djibril mocked actors who called for boycott of National Day. To him, the calls did not in any drowse the spirit of the celebrations and Cameroonians demonstrated their willingness to live together. He has given a pass mark to efforts made by ¨President Paul Biya to resolve the Anglophone problem as well as efforts taken by education authorities to ensure the academic year goes through despite calls for boycott.
Senate President, Marcel Niat Njifenji who opened the Senate sessions hours later called on CAMRAIL to speed up the compensation of victims of the Eseka train crash while stressing the need for unity.
A minute of silence was given in honor of the fallen Bishop of Bafia, Jean Marie Benoit Balla whose death has been described as shocking by MPs
SDF MPs have rubbished the opening session saying Government has done nothing to resolve the matter. But that has not pleased majority of disgruntled Anglophones who want the MPs to walk out from what they say is a rubber stamp Parliament.
The June Session has nothing a stake. MPs will control government action through Questions and Answer sessions. We learnt about 7 bills will be on for scrutiny in the days ahead.
